Surrogate Advocate Group & Surrogate Solutions

I have had so much going on lately that my head is just spinning, I have tried several times to blog and tell everyone but never could get a moment. I was talking to my friend/neighbor today and realized I hadn't even told her and we talk all the time. lol So here it is ...............

In my previous blogs I have talked about being retired from surrogacy and not doing any more journeys but feeling sad about surrogacy not being in my life. I have also blogged recently about negative things happening and it made me very angry. One night while ranting and raving to my husband about a situation between a surrogate, her intended parents and the agency I decided I wasn't going to just complain about it anymore that I was going to do something.

I put my plan together and decided I would start a Surrogate Advocate Group, I was already getting groups of surrogates together for social meetings every month or so and I would just make it more than that and travel to other cities to host more groups. My focus was to try and find new surrogates to help them make the right choices and not get railroaded by anyone. That they are signing contracts that are fair, walk them through the process in detail, make sure all steps are being done and teach them to look for red flags. While first time surrogates were my focus experienced surrogates are just as important and even if they feel comfortable in their journey I want the group to offer them support and additional education. Its about making a personal connection and making a difference!

I had my plan, I knew what I wanted now I just needed a little help putting it in motion. :) I have met with, used and talked to a lot of surrogate agency's and there is no one like Gayle at Surrogate Solutions. We agree on so much and as I laid my plan out there for her she was thrilled at the idea of offering positive and educational support for our Texas Surrogates. She said she would love to have the group be apart of her agency and wanted to help make a difference. Thats why she is so awesome because its not just about making money or running a business her heart is truly in the right place. As we put all the pieces together and worked all the details out in the end I became a Consultant for Surrogate Solutions. I will be matching couples and surrogates, supporting them through their entire journey and getting the Surrogate Advocate group up and going.

God closed one door and as I prayed for him to show me a new path he laid all the cards on the table and truly blessed me with something wonderful. I feel like I have always tried to make a positive difference in surrogacy and I have supported my fellow surrogates through their journeys but this is just a whole new level and I am so thankful for the opportunity to reach out and help many more.
